Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    Admission is very competitive and is based on both the applicant’s academic and personal qualifications.
  • Official Transcripts:
    An official copy of your final high school transcript is required, and should accompany the Secondary School Report.
  • SAT Scores:
    The submission of standardized test results is optional.
  • Letters of Recommendation:
    Ask two of your instructors to complete the Common Application Teacher Evaluation form and submit it directly to the Office of Admission by the appropriate application deadline date.
  • Essay:
    There is a Personal Statement required on the Common Application. You may submit a graded academic writing sample.
  • Application Fee:
    The $55 application fee is waived for candidates who apply online. There is a $55 application fee for paper applications.
  • Interview:
    Personal interviews are strongly recommended for all applicants, and while you are on campus you also may participate in an information session and/or a tour.
  • Other Requirements:
    Students enrolled in college must obtain up-to-date assessments of grades in progress from all instructors using the Mid-Semester Evaluation Form. You may wish to submit additional material with their application.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    For credit to transfer, the final grade must be AT LEAST a C.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    The amount of credit you receive depends upon the credit system of the OTHER institution. The calculation is based on the earned course credit in relation to the credit required for the degree at the host institution.
