  • Scholarships and Financial Aid:
    Every student should file the FAFSA. The school code for all WCJC campuses is 003668. Through the generosity of donors, Wharton County Junior College is able to award students scholarships from over 60 endowments.
  • Tuition and Fees:
    Total Estimated Tuition & Fees (15 schedule hours): $1,575 In-District | $2,415 Out-of-District | $2,565 Out-of-District Sugarland | $3,195 Out-of-State.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Official Transcripts:
    All official education records, including GED certificates, high school and college transcript(s), and/or homeschool records are required.
  • SAT Scores:
    Your TSI assessment scores or proof of TSI exemption (SAT, ACT, STAAR, etc.) are required.
  • Other Requirements:
    Bacterial Meningitis immunization records are required for students 21 years of age and younger. Immunizations must be current (no older than 5 years).
