Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    Credit for courses in which a passing grade (“D” or better if the student’s overall grade average is “C” or better)has been earned may be transferred to Western Texas College from any regionally accredited college.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    For AA, AAT, or AS degrees, at least 15 semester hours of residence credit at WTC is required, not including credit by exam. Residence credit required for the AAS degree is a minimum of 25% of the total program hours, 30% for a Certificate.
