Transfer Application Requirements

Minimum GPA:

Transfer students must have a minimum GPA of “C” (2.0 on 4.0 unweighted scale) for the last semester of full-time work, a cumulative GPA of “C” (2.0 on 4.0 unweighted scale) and be in good standing at the institution from which they are transferring.
Official Transcripts:

Official college transcripts are required. High School transcripts will be required for students with fewer than 24 hours earned.
SAT Scores:

High School transcripts and ACT/SAT test scores will be required for students with fewer than 24 hours earned.
Letters of Recommendation:

Letter of recommendation are not required, but a Statement of Good Standing my be submitted from your previous institution.
Essay:

An essay or personal statement is not required.
Application Fee:

The application fee is $40.00 for domestic students and $75.00 for international students, and is non-refundable.
Interview:

There is no requirement for an interview.

Transfer Credit Policy

Minimum Grade:

Generally, a "D" in the minimum grade required for transfer credit. Some academic departments require a minimum grade of "C" in each course applicable toward a major.
Credits (Min/Max):

The min credits you must complete at WKU to earn an associate degree is 15 (25% of 60), and 30 (25% of 120) to earn a bachelor's degree.
