    Applicants with less then 24 credits of transferable college work they must submit official high school transcripts. All applicants must submit officia transcripts from previously attended institutions.

    Applicants with less then 24 credits of transferable college work they must submit their standardized test scores
  • Letters of Recommendation:
    Statement of good standing from prior institution(s) is recommended of all transfer applicants.
  • Essay:
    An essay or personal statement is not required for admission consideration.
  • Application Fee:
    Apply online, the fee is $25. Apply through the mailed, the fee is $30.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    The minimum grade required for transfer credit is C.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    The maximum number of credits or courses that may be transferred from a two-year institution is 50 and from a four-year institution is 90. You must earn 30 credits at Western Illinois to earn a bachelor's degree.
