As a comprehensive community college, Northern offers a wide variety of more than 70 programs in the arts and sciences and career-technical education, and dozens of continuing education offerings. Transfer Application Requirements

  • Official Transcripts:
    You must submit official transcripts from all previous institutions. If you have fewer than 30 semester hours from an accredited college and have graduated from high school in the last 5 years, an official high school transcript is required
  • SAT Scores:
    Course placement testing is required for any student who has not met or exceeded designated cut off scores on the ACT/SAT tests. Cut off scores for ACT are, Math 19, English 18, Reading 17.
  • Application Fee:
    There is no fee to apply.
  • Other Requirements:
    All out-of-state, full-time, transfer students who were born after January 1, 1957, are required to provide proof of immunity to measles and rubella.
