Information for Transfer In Students

  • Accepts Transfers:
    Transfer students earn advanced standing credit by transferring credits earned from course work completed at other colleges/universities.
  • Transfer Agreements:
    Transfer Plans are available specific to Amarillo College, Clarendon College, Frank Phillips College, Midland College and South Plains College.
  • Technical/Vocation Credit Accepted:
    Vocational credit recommendations may be accepted into the bachelor of applied arts and sciences (B.A.A.S.) degree only.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    Minimum GPA requirements for transfer admission consideration are 12 - 23 hours 2.50 or greater cumulative and 24 or more hours 2.25 or greater cumulative.
  • Official Transcripts:
    High school transcripts are required if applying with less than 12 credits. College transcripts from every institution attended are required.
  • SAT Scores:
    SAT/ACT scores are required if applying with less than 12 credits.
  • Application Fee:
    There is a $40 non-refundable application, or you may submit a fee waiver request.
  • Other Requirements:
    Texas Success Initiative test scores are required if applying with less than 12 credits.
