    We offer the University Scholarship to all first time transfer students (not enrolled as a previously). You must have a min of 24 semster credit hours with a min cumulative GPA of a 3.25 (4.0 scale). This 3 year scholarship is $2,000/academic year.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    A cumulative grade-point average of at least 2.0 is normally required for transfer students. A student with slightly less than a 2.0 may be considered for admission by the Committee on Admissions and Credits if extenuating circumstances are involved.
  • Official Transcripts:
    An official transcripts sent directly from the registrar of each previously attended institution are required. If the applicant has completed fewer than 28 semester hours before the transfer, a high school transcript is also required.
  • SAT Scores:
    If the applicant has completed fewer than 28 semester hours before the transfer, ACT/SAT test requirements must be met.
  • Essay:
    West Liberty does not publish a requirement for the submission of an essay or personal statement.
  • Application Fee:
    There is no fee to apply.
  • Other Requirements:
    Evidence of honorable withdrawal from the college previously attended (transfer clearance form) must be submitted.
