Financial Information

• Scholarships and Financial Aid:
  One of the number one obstacles between acceptance and attendance is funding. WKCTC is committed to helping students overcome financial barriers to student success. Our dedicated staff is available to assist you and your family to make paying for your classes as easy as possible. We are excited that you have chosen WKCTC and look forward to working with you. To help make paying for school easier, we offer a variety of federal grants, state grants, institutional scholarships, etc.

Transfer Application Requirements

• Minimum GPA:
  An applicant who has previously attended an accredited college or university which awards degrees at the associate level or higher and who has an overall grade point average of at least 2.0 on a 4.0 scale in all course work attempted will be accepted for admission.
• Official Transcripts:
  Applicants entering with transfer credit must have an official transcript from each college attended forwarded to the Admissions & Records Office.
• SAT Scores:
  Applicants should submit results of the American College Test (ACT) or Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT). Applicants who have not taken the ACT or SAT must complete the COMPASS or ASSET placement examination administered by any college of KCTCS.

  There is no application fee.
