As of July 1, 2021, Wesley College has joined with Delaware State University through a historic acquisition that combines the longstanding heritages of Wesley as a premier liberal arts college and Delaware State University as America’s most diverse, contemporary Historically Black College/University.   • Scholarships and Financial Aid:
    Students seeking financial assistance can apply for the following scholarships for transfer students. Submitting an application does not ensure that a scholarship will be awarded: DTCC students who graduate with an associate’s degree and a 2.5 cumulative GPA may be eligible for up to two years (four consecutive semesters) of scholarship funding at $1,000 per academic year; privately funded scholarships; the Osher Reentry Scholarship; the Alumni Legacy Endowed Scholarships.

  • Accepts Transfers:
    Each year, hundreds of students discover that Delaware State University fits their academic goals and needs. For these students, we aim to make the transfer process as smooth as possible.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    The cumulative GPA from all previously attended college/universities must be 2.0 or above.
  • Official Transcripts:
    Submit official high school transcripts or GED scores if 30 or more college level credits have not been earned and official transcripts from all higher education institutions attended since high school.
  • SAT Scores:
    Required if less than 12 credit hours of transferable coursework.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    Course grades must be a “C” or above in order for the transfer credit to count. Grades of “C-” cannot transfer.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    12 credit hours minimum.
