  • Scholarships and Financial Aid:
    Wayne State College’s current and transfer students are eligible for our annual and endowed scholarships. These scholarships are based on specific criteria. Students need to submit only one application for all WSC scholarships. Applicants who meet requirements for specific scholarships will be identified based on the application.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    Transfer students not on current academic suspension from their previous institution(s) are eligible for admission to WSC, provided they have maintained a minimum grade point average of 2.0 or higher (on a 4.0 point scale).
  • Official Transcripts:
    Request an official copy of any and all transfer credits to be sent to the WSC Admissions Office. Students must also request an official academic transcript from each institution attended.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    Effective Spring 2012 only transfer courses with a “C” or better grade can be accepted; credit for a course in which the student earned a grade of “C-” is not accepted.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    The maximum number of credits accepted in transfer toward the major and/or minor varies, depending on the chosen program of study, and the school.
