Virginia Wesleyan University is a small, four-year private, liberal arts institution. With over 38 majors and exceptional professors, we are committed to helping you achieve a 4-year degree. The academic environment we offer coupled with the rich educational and experiential opportunities of the Hampton Roads area make Virginia Wesleyan a standout among colleges. We’re among the few colleges where 87 percent of our faculty hold the highest degrees offered in their fields and we’re proud that 95 percent of our graduates find employment in their field of choice within one year of graduation. There are many reasons to attend Virginia Wesleyan, but perhaps the best reason of all is we break the mold of the traditional college education.
