Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    Students in the College of Professional Studies, on average, are 37 years old with 5-11 years work experience and have generally earned at least 15 college credits. For information regarding Villanova’s programs geared towards traditional-aged undergraduate learners, please visit the Office of University Admissions for additional information.
  • Official Transcripts:
    Official Transcripts from each post-secondary school attended are required. as well as official high school transcripts.
  • SAT Scores:
    The College of Professional Studies does not require SAT scores.
  • Essay:
    Essay discussing your educational interests and professional goals.
  • Application Fee:
    $50 non-refundable application fee.
  • Other Requirements:
    Please send a current course catalog from all colleges and universities that you have attended to the Office of University Admission (Attention:Transfer).

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    You must earn a grade of "C" or better at an accredited institution in order for appropriate credit to be given.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    Villanova accepts a maximum of 60 transfer credits from other institutions. In order to earn a degree from Villanova, at least half of all major courses and the final 30 credits of a degree program must be taken here at Villanova.
