Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    The minimum GPA requirement for transfer admission consideration is 2.3 (on a 4.0 scale).
  • Official Transcripts:
    All official transcripts from any college/university attended must be submitted with the Admission application. Applicants with less than 24 semester credits must submit their high school transcripts.
  • SAT Scores:
    Applicants with less than 24 semester credits must submit their ACT/SAT score as part of their application package.
  • Letters of Recommendation:
    Letters of recommendation are not required.
  • Essay:
    An essay is not required.
  • Application Fee:
    There is a non-refundable $50 application fee (nonresidents only)
  • Interview:
    An interview is not required.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    The lowest grade earned for any course that may be transferred for credit is D.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    There is no limit on courses accepted for transfer credit. You must complete 20 credits in residence at Utah State to earn your associate degree, and 30 credits to earn your bachelor's degree.
