Transfer Application Requirements

  • Official Transcripts:
    Official final high school transcripts and official final college transcripts from each school you have attended and/or currently attending, including grades, are required.
  • Letters of Recommendation:
    A recommendation from a college instructor is strongly recommended.
  • Essay:
    A Personal Essay elaborating on how Ursinus may fit in with your future goals is included in the application.
  • Interview:
    An on-campus interview is strongly recommended.
  • Other Requirements:
    Course descriptions of all post-secondary courses taken are required for transfer credit evaluation.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    Requirements for the course to be considered for transfer include: the class must be taught by a college professor; the final grade earned must be a C or better.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    To qualify for the degree of BA or BS, a student must complete a total of 128 semester hours. A minimum of 64 semester hours of that credit must be completed at Ursinus. This allows a maximum of 64 semester hours of credit in transfer.
