Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    Transfer students with a minimum higher education GPA of 2.0 who do not meet college/program admission requirements below will be admitted to the UT Learning Collaborative Transition Program. Transfer students with a higher education GPA under 2.0 may be admitted on a one term conditional basis. Your first semester GPA at UT must be at least a 2.0 to remain at UT. A completed application and all official transcripts must be received 10 days prior to the start of the term.
  • Official Transcripts:
    Transcripts from all colleges/universities attended are required. For maximum admission scholarship consideration, students who have fewer than 15 semester (22 quarter) hours should also submit official high school transcripts/GED scores.
  • SAT Scores:
    For maximum admission scholarship consideration, students who have fewer than 15 semester (22 quarter) hours should also submit ACT/SAT scores.
  • Letters of Recommendation:
    Not required for admissions consideration.
  • Essay:
    Not required for admissions consideration.
  • Application Fee:
    There is a deferred $40 application fee due upon enrollment.
  • Interview:
    Although not required, an interview is recommended for all applicants.
  • Other Requirements:
    Based on a student’s major and previous college coursework, you may be required to take placement tests.
