Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    Minimum GPA requirements vary by school.
  • Official Transcripts:
    All high school and college transcripts are due in the Admissions Office by the March 15 deadline, and it is the candidate's responsibility to ensure that all credentials have been received by the Admissions Office.
  • SAT Scores:
    SAT/ACT scores are required. SAT Subject Tests are not required.
  • Letters of Recommendation:
    Letters of recommendation from two current college professors are required.
  • Essay:
    Applicants must complete the two essays on the application.
  • Application Fee:
    A $75 non-refundable fee must be submitted with the application.
  • Interview:
    An interview is not required.
  • Other Requirements:
    A Mid Term Grade Report and Dean's Report must be completed by the faculty and dean of your current institution. Additional requirement, including academic requirements, vary by school.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    transfer credit may be awarded for academically-based courses which were taken at a regionally accredited institution, passed with a grade of C or better, and are similar in content and classroom meeting hours to the curriculum on this campus.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    Penn maintains a two-year academic enrollment requirement. One-half of the total number of courses required for the degree must be completed here, regardless of the number of transferable credits completed elsewhere.
