Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    A minimum college grade point average of 2.25 is required of transfer applicants, and 2.5 if you are a non-resident.
  • Official Transcripts:
    If you will have completed 35 or fewer quarter credits (23 semester credits) by the term you expect to enroll, submit your official high school transcripts. Official college transcripts from all previously attended institutions are required.
  • SAT Scores:
    If you will have completed 35 or fewer quarter credits (23 semester credits) by the term you expect to enroll your SAT Reasoning Test or ACT scores are required.
  • Essay:
    An essay or personal statement is only recommended of some for admission consideration.
  • Application Fee:
    Transfer applicants must submit a nonrefundable $50 application fee.
  • Interview:
    An interview is not required for admission consideration.
  • Other Requirements:
    If you are an architecture or interior architecture transfer applicant, submit SAT Reasoning Test or ACT scores regardless of class status.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    The lowest grade earned for any course that may be transferred for credit is a D or higher.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    You may transfer in an unlimited number of credits to clear degree requirements, but only 124 credits from two-year colleges will be counted toward the degree. You must earn a minimum of 62 credits in residence to receive your bachelor's degree.
