Financial Information

• Scholarships and Financial Aid:
  We know that funding a college education can be challenging for individuals and families. The U.S. Department of Education, the State of New Mexico and UNM Valencia Campus offer several financial aid programs that can assist a student in meeting the costs of a college education.

Information for Transfer In Students

• Technical/Vocation Credit Accepted:
  Normally, no credit is accepted by UNM from technical institutions, business schools, or other post high school institutions, which are not members of regional collegiate accrediting associations.

Transfer Application Requirements

• Letters of Recommendation:
  To receive transfer credit from previous institutions, official transcripts from those institutions must be mailed directly to UNMValencia. Your official high school transcript with graduation date or GED transcript is required.
• Application Fee:
  There is a $15.00 non-refundable application fee.

Transfer Credit Policy

• Minimum Grade:
  Transfer students will be awarded full credit for coursework completed with grades of C or higher at fully accredited institutions if the courses are the same or equivalent to UNM courses.
