Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    To be considered for admission, a student must have a minumum cumulative GPA of 2.0 on at least 15 credits of transferable coursework. Students with less than a 2.0 grade point average on transferable coursework may be considered for admission or placed on a waiting list based on review of the comprehensive academic record and consideration of the applicant’s letter of appeal.
  • Official Transcripts:
    Request a copy of all college transcripts and send directly to UW-Green Bay Admissions Office. If less than 15 transferable credits at the time of application transfer students must also send official HS Transcript and Official ACT/SAT score.
  • SAT Scores:
    Only if student has fewer than 15 transferable credits would one have official ACT/SAT scores sent directly from the test company to UWGB.
  • Letters of Recommendation:
    Letters of Recommendation are optional.
  • Essay:
    While a personal statement is not a requirement for admission, you may choose to submit one to highlight personal and academic successes which may not be reflected in GPA or ACT scores.
  • Application Fee:
    $44. Mail check to UW-Green Bay Admissions Office (check payable to UW-Green Bay).
