    UDC enrolls hundreds of transfer students every year and makes a special effort to help transfer students feel at home at UDC.
  • Technical/Vocation Credit Accepted:
    Generally, UDC does not accept vocational, developmental, independent study, internships/practicum, pass/fail, or other specialized course credits.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    UDC does not publish a minimum grade requirement for transfer.
  • Official Transcripts:
    Official college transcripts reflecting all course work and grades from all post-secondary institutions attended are required. If you've earned less than 30 college credits, your official high school transcript or copy of a GED diploma are required.
  • SAT Scores:
    If you've earned less than 30 college credits, your official test scores are required.
  • Application Fee:
    There is a $35 non-refundable application fee.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    Transfer credit is approved only for courses passed with a minimum grade of “C” or better, or a 2.0 on a 4.0 grade point average scale.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    UDC has no maxi number of undergraduate credits allowed for transfer, but consistent with UDC’s residency policy, students can apply a maximum of 90 transfer credits towards a Bachelor degree and a maximum of 45 credits towards an Associate degree.
