Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:

  • Official Transcripts:
    Your official high school transcripts are required, as well as college transcripts from every institution previously attended.
  • SAT Scores:
    Official SAT or ACT scores are required.
  • Essay:
    Students with 12-23 transferrable credits are required to submit a personal statement that outlines the reasons why they wish to transfer to USF.
  • Application Fee:
    A $30 non-refundable fee must be submitted with the application.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    In general, credit may be granted for courses taken at regionally accredited institutions where a grade of at least a D has been earned.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    Minimum credits- 30 credits (lower-level transfer applicant), 60 credits (upper-level transfer applicant). No maximum number of credits.
