Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    2.0 is required for unconditional admission
  • Official Transcripts:
    An official transcript from each college or university attended is required. If you have earned less than 30 semester or 40 quarter hours, then an official high school transcript is required.
  • SAT Scores:
    If you graduated from high school less than 5 years prior to matriculation or are not at least 23 years of age, ACT or SAT scores are required.
  • Application Fee:
    $35
  • Other Requirements:
    Students must be eligible to re-enroll at the last institution attended.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    The lowest grade earned for any course that may be transferred for credit is D.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    Only 50% of the credit hours required for a degree may be transferred from a community college. A candidate for graduation must complete a minimum of 25% of the credit hours required for a degree at USA in upper-division coursework.
