Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    Minimum GPA requirements vary by Program of Study.
  • Official Transcripts:
    OU requires official transcripts from each collegiate institution attended. If you have fewer than 24 semester hours of college level work, you must also submit an official copy of your high school transcript.
  • SAT Scores:
    Your ACT or SAT scores are required if you have fewer than 24 semester hours of college level work.
  • Essay:
    An essay or personal statement is not required.
  • Application Fee:
    A $40 non-refundable application fee is required of all domestic students. International applicants have a $90 fee.
  • Interview:
    A personal interview is not required for admission consideration.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    The lowest grade earned for any course that may be transferred for credit is D.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    A minimum of 60 semester hours must be earned in a senior college for a baccalaureate degree.
