Transfer Application Requirements

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    Credit earned at another institution with a grade of “C” (2.00) or better is accepted by the university if the work transferred is comparable to offerings at UNCW. UNCW will only accept credit from regionally accredited institutions.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    There is no maximum limit on transfer credits. Transfer students must meet the university’s residency requirement. Hours attempted and grade points earned at other institutions are not used in computing grade point averages.
