Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    The minimum GPA requirement for transfer admissions consideration is 2.0 (on a 4.0 scale).
  • Official Transcripts:
    Request that the registrar of each institution you have attended (including summer session or extension work) send an official transcript of your record directly to UNCG. Request that your high school mail an official transcript as well.
  • SAT Scores:
    A student who has fewer than 30 transferable semester hours of credit must also submit SAT or ACT test scores.
  • Essay:
    An essay or personal statement is not required.
  • Application Fee:
    There is a non-refundable fee of $55 to apply.
  • Interview:
    An interview is not required.
