    The University of Mobile recognizes and rewards academic achievements with scholarship merit awards based upon your current college or university GPA (on a 4.0 scale). Merit Lvl 1: 3.50 and above Merit Lvl 2: 3.25-3.499 Merit Lvl 3: 2.80-3.249

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    For unconditional acceptance, UM requires a 2.75 GPA. If a transfer student has earned 24 Semester Hours or more, UM will not need an ACT or SAT score.
  • Official Transcripts:
    Request an official copy of all previous college transcripts to be sent to the University of Mobile. Students transferring with less than 24 acceptable hours of transfer credit should submit ACT/SAT scores and a high school transcript.
  • SAT Scores:
    If a transfer student has earned 24 Semester Hours or more, UM will not need an ACT or SAT score. Applicants with less than 24 credits of transferable college work will be require to submit test scores.
  • Application Fee:
    Non-refundable application fee of $25

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    Applicants must have grades of a D or higher
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    No more than 64 semester hours of transfer credit from a community college/junior college will be accepted.
