• Scholarships and Financial Aid:
  Over 60% of UMA students receive some form of financial aid. UMA takes its commitment to providing accessible, affordable, supportive, high quality education for the people of Maine very seriously.

Application Deadlines for Transfer

Transfer Application Requirements

• Minimum GPA:
  A transfer student should normally have a minimum of a 2.00 cumulative grade point average in order to be admitted to the University of Maine at Augusta.
• Official Transcripts:
  Have official transcripts sent directly from your high school (faxes and photocopies acceptable) and all previous college(s).
• SAT Scores:
  SAT/ACT scores are not required. However, placement testing may be waived based on your SAT scores.
• Application Fee:
  $40 application fee.
• Interview:
  An admissions interview is not required. However, you are welcome and encouraged to visit our campuses.
