Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    A minimum GPA of 2.5 is required. This may vary depending on the college and program of study.
  • Official Transcripts:
    Official college transcripts from all previously attended colleges and universities are required.
  • Application Fee:
    $60 nonrefundable application fee or fee waiver.
  • Interview:
    An interview may be required.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    A minimum grade of C is required for any course that may be transferred for credit.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    A maximum of 60 credits can be accepted for transfer. You must earn 30 semester hours of credit at UIC to earn a bachelor's degree.
