  • Accepts Transfers:
    If you have earned 15 or more transferable hours of college credit after high school graduation and are not a former UH undergraduate student, you can apply as a transfer student.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    If you have a cumulative minimum GPA of 2.5, you are assured admission. If your cumulative GPA is 2.25-2.49, admission will be based on individual review.
  • Official Transcripts:
    Official college transcripts from all colleges or universities attended are required.
  • Application Fee:
    $75 non-refundable
  • Other Requirements:
    A statement of good standing from prior institutions is required.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    UH may award transfer credit for all college-level, academic coursework with a grade of C- or better from regionally accredited institutions.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    A maximum of 66 semester credits may be transferred from a two-year institution. You must earn 30 credits at UH to earn a bachelor's degree.
