UH West O‘ahu is a baccalaureate degree granting institution which offers degrees in the liberal arts and professional studies. Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    Minimum GPA requirement is a 2.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
  • Official Transcripts:
    Official transcripts must be received by UH West O‘ahu from all non-University of Hawai‘i post-secondary educational institutions previously attended. Official high school transcripts are required if you have less than 24 transferable credits.
  • SAT Scores:
    SAT or ACT scores are required if you have less than 24 transferable credits.
  • Application Fee:
    There is a $50 application fee.
  • Associates Degree Required:
    Students with an Associate in Arts degree in the liberal arts will be accepted as having completed general education requirements.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    Courses completed with a minimum grade of “D” (not “D-”) are accepted.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    All eligible credits will be transferred in, however, not all may satisfy the University’s general education and/or program requirements; students may be required to complete additional courses.
