Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    To be considered for admission your cumulative college grade point average should be at least 2.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Official Transcripts:
    Evansville requires the submission of official college/university transcripts from all institutions attended. Additionally, your high school transcript will be reviewed for strength of curriculum and academic performance.
  • SAT Scores:
    Evansville may request you submit official SAT or ACT scores for admission consideration.
  • Letters of Recommendation:
    Comments from the Dean of Student Recommendation Form, included with the application for admission, will also be taken into consideration.
  • Essay:
    You may supplement your application with a personal statement letter.
  • Application Fee:
    There is a $35 non-refundable application fee.
  • Other Requirements:
    A special orientation for transfer students, STAR, is held each semester.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    Courses with a grade of C or higher will be considered for transfer credit to the University of Evansville.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    No more than 60 semester hours of credit from a junior college or community college may be transferred to the University of Evansville.
