Transfer Application Requirements

  • Official Transcripts:
    A transcript from each postsecondary institution attended is required. If you have earned fewer than 30 semester (45 quarter) credits, you must submit high school transcripts. The program you are applying to may require a transcript.
  • SAT Scores:
    Test scores must be sent to UC directly from the testing agency (test scores are not accepted from the HS transcript).
  • Essay:
    Describe how your academic achievements, personal interests and life experiences have helped prepare you to succeed academically and to be an active member of the UC community. (Please limit your response to approximately 250 words.)
  • Application Fee:
    UC's nonrefundable application fee is $50. Online applicants must pay by Visa, MasterCard or Discover card when submitting their application. Do not send cash. Be sure your name and Social Security Number are written on the check or money order.
  • Other Requirements:
    UC offers 300+ undergrad programs, with varying admission requirements, depending on which UC college offers the program.

  • Minimum Grade:
    You must have earned a D or better grade for credits to transfer, unless the course was part of a transfer module or a degree you have completed.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
