Located in Edmond, Oklahoma, the University of Central Oklahoma is the oldest university in the state!     Students with less than 30 attempted hours must have at least a 1.7 GPA; Students with 30 or more attempted hours must have at least a 2.0 GPA; Students with less than 24 hours must also provide official high school transcripts and ACT scores.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    In general there are no minimum grade requirements for credit transfer. However, certain majors require students to retake select courses if the grade is less than a "C".
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    There is no maximum number of hours that can be transferred. However, students must earn at least 60 hours from a four-year university to graduate with a bachelor's degree in the state of Oklahoma. Also, students must earn at least 30 hours from UCO.
