All students must apply or reapply for financial aid every year. Completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) automatically allows you to be considered for federal, state and university financial aid programs. FAFSA applications become available on October 1 for the following academic year. Filling out the FAFSA is free.

Transfer Application Requirements

Minimum GPA:

A minimum GPA of 2.0 (on a 4.0 scale) is required.
Official Transcripts:

Official transcripts from all colleges attended are required. High school transcripts are required if you have fewer than 30 transferable semester hours of college coursework.
SAT Scores:

Official SAT [code: 5233] or ACT [code: 0735] score
Application Fee:

$30 nonrefundable application fee
Associates Degree Required:

High school transcripts are not required for transfers with an awarded A.A. degree from a Florida public community college, state college or university if initially entered Fall 2014-15 or after.

Transfer Credit Policy

Minimum Grade:

The lowest grade earned for any course that may be transferred for credit is D.
Credits (Min/Max):

You must earn 20 of the last 30 credits at UCF to earn an associate degree, and the last 30 credits to earn a bachelor's degree.
