Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    Minimum 2.0 cumulative grade point average on all transfer coursework is required for admission consideration.
  • Official Transcripts:
    Official transcripts from all previously attended universities, including those at which high school concurrent credit was earned, are required. If you have earned less than 24 credits, your high school transcript is required.
  • SAT Scores:
    Students who do not meet minimum admission requirements may appeal and submit ACT, SAT, or comparable assessment scores.
  • Letters of Recommendation:
    Students who do not meet minimum admission requirements may appeal and submit two letters of support from school counselors, teachers, employers, and/or other personal references.
  • Application Fee:
    $25 non-refundable
  • Other Requirements:
    Students who do not meet minimum admission requirements may appeal and submit a personal statement explaining why you should be considered.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    Transfer credit is awarded for courses in which an A, B, or C grade is earned. The transfer of credits with D grades is available only to first-time entering transfer students at the time of admission to the University.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    There is no limit on the number of credit hours that may be transferred to the university. Residency requirements will insure the residence credit hours.
