    Transcripts from any colleges/universities attended as well as proof of high school completion or its equivalent are required.
  • SAT Scores:
    Not required for transfer applicants.
  • Letters of Recommendation:
    For Dental Hygiene and Nursing applicants, two recommendation forms are required.
  • Essay:
    For Dental Hygiene and Nursing applicants, the submission of a personal statement is required.
  • Application Fee:
    There is no application fee.
  • Interview:
    For dental hygiene applicants, a personal interview is required.
  • Other Requirements:
    Dental Hygiene and Nursing applicants are required to complete prerequisites and submit a supplemental application.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    Transfer credit is normally awarded only for courses that are level 100 or higher and in which a grade of ā€œCā€ or better is earned.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    There is a minimum credit requirement of 12 semester hours. You must complete your last 30 semester hours at Bridgeport to be eligible for a degree. A maximum of 66 credits may be awarded from 2-year colleges and 90 credits from 4-year institutions.
