    Transfer at least 30 earned credit hours and a 2.0 GPA to UAFS and receive up to $9,000 in tuition savings through the Smart Choice Tuition Waiver.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    2.0 GPA or higher
  • Official Transcripts:
    Submit official transcripts for all schools attended. Students who have fewer than 13 college credit hours are required to submit official high school transcripts or GED scores.
  • Other Requirements:
    Proof of immunization against measles, mumps, and rubella. Immunity can be shown by providing proof of having received two doses of measles, two doses of mumps, and two doses of rubella vaccine.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    Transfer credit is awarded for courses in which a grade of C or higher has been earned. However, six hours in which a grade of D has been earned may be considered under some circumstances.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    The maximum number of hours transferable to a baccalaureate degree is 68 semester hours of lower-level (1000-2000) coursework.
