  • Accepts Transfers:
    UAMont is a transfer friendly school. The final decision regarding transfer course equivalents to University courses will be made by the University.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    Students with less than a 2.00 cumulative grade point average or less than a 2.00 semester average for their last semester will be admitted on conditional academic standing.
  • Official Transcripts:
    The submission of official transcripts from all colleges and highschools attended is required.
  • SAT Scores:
    UAMont requires the submission of official ACT/SAT test scores.
  • Other Requirements:
    Proof of immunization against measles, rubella and mumps is required of applicants. Proof should be submitted as two MMR injections. Tuberculin skin testing required on foreign-born applicants.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    Transferring students may receive credit for course work completed at an accredited post-secondary institution where a grade of ā€œCā€ or higher has been earned.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    A maximum of 68 credit hours may be transferred from a community, technical, or junior college. Exceptions may be made in instances where UAM has entered into articulation agreements with community, technical, or junior colleges.
