Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    A cumulative GPA of 2.0 is required for admission consideration. If you have earned an associate degree from a previously attended, regionally accredited institution no minimum GPA is required.
  • Official Transcripts:
    Official college transcripts from all post-secondary schools you’ve attended. If you have earned less than 12 transferable credit hours, your official high school transcript is required.
  • SAT Scores:
    If you have earned less than transferable credit hours, your official standardized test scores are required.
  • Application Fee:
    $40 (military students can file for a waiver)
  • Other Requirements:
    Immunization records or a Titer Test showing Immunity (for students born after 1956)

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    Only courses with grades of C or greater will transfer automatically; however, a student may request to transfer as many as 6 credit hours with a grade of D from any institutionally or regionally accredited college or university.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    There is no limit on the number of credits that a student may transfer to UA Little Rock, but students graduating with four-year degrees (baccalaureate) must earn 30 hours in residence at UA Little Rock.
