The UAS Juneau Campus is located on Alaska’s Inside Passage and is surrounded by the beautiful Tongass National Forest. It offers excellent campus-based and online programs in areas such as marine biology, environmental sciences, fisheries, teacher education, business and public administration, liberal arts, Alaska Native studies, nursing, health sciences, and mine training. It features on-campus housing, rich campus life activities, a recreation center, and access to hiking, kayaking, and fishing.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    The minimum GPA requirement is 2.0, otherwise admission is on a case-by-case basis.
  • Official Transcripts:
    Official high school transcripts, as well as official transcripts from all previously attended colleges and universities are required.
  • SAT Scores:
    The submission of official ACT or SAT scores is required for Bachelor Program applicants and if you have less than 30 credits.
  • Application Fee:
    There is a $40 fee for Certificate and Associate applications, and a $50 fee for Bachelor Program applications.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    A minimum grade of C- (1.7) is required for applicants outside of the University of Alaska system. A minimum grade of D- (0.7) is required for University of Alaska students.
