Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    Applicant must hold a minimum overall college "C" average (2.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale), along with a minimum "C" average (2.0 GPA) in all transferable courses.
  • Official Transcripts:
    Send official college transcript(s) from all previously attended colleges/universities to UAH through an electronic delivery service. If you have fewer than 24 academic credit hours, you must also submit your high school transcripts.
  • SAT Scores:
    If you have fewer than 24 academic credit hours, you will be required to submit official ACT or SAT scores to the Office of Admissions.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    The lowest grade allowable for transfer credit is C.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    A max of 50% of a 2-year degree program and unlimited credits from a 4-year program will be accepted for transfer. 25% of total requirements and 12 of the final 18 degree hours must be completed with UAH courses.
