Transfer Application Requirements

• Minimum GPA:
  2.0 cumulative GPA from all transferable credit hours.
• Official Transcripts:
  Official transcripts from any institution you have ever attended since high school.
• SAT Scores:
  Standardized test scores are not required unless you have less than 24 transferable credit hours.
• Letters of Recommendation:
  None required unless applying to specific honors programs.
• Essay:
  None required unless applying to specific honors programs.
• Application Fee:
  $30 for online application. Online application can be found at http://uab.edu/transferapply.
• Interview:
  None required

Transfer Credit Policy

• Minimum Grade:
  2.0 cumulative transfer GPA. UAB's transfer requirements can be seen here: http://uab.edu/transferapply
• Credits (Min/Max):
  24 credit hours are needed to be a regular transfer students. A student may transfer with less than 24 credit hours but that student will also have to meet our incoming freshman requirements: http://uab.edu/apply
