Financial Information

• Scholarships and Financial Aid:
  Submit a Transfer Students Undergraduate Scholarship Application no later than April 1 to be considered for scholarships for the following academic year. For Financial Aid complete a FAFSA. Contact the Financial Aid Office at 330-684-8942.

Information for Transfer In Students

• Accepts Transfers:
  Transfer students may earn advanced standing by transferring credits earned from coursework completed at other colleges/universities.

Transfer Application Requirements

• Official Transcripts:
  All transfer students must request an official transcript from each college attended. Your high school transcript is required if you are under age 25 and have less than 12 semester hours of college credit
• SAT Scores:
  ACT/SAT scores are required if you are under age 21 and have less than 12 semester hours of college credit.
• Letters of Recommendation:
  Not required for admissions consideration.
• Essay:
  Not required for admissions consideration.
• Application Fee:
  There is a $40 non-refundable application.
• Interview:
  Not required for admissions consideration.
• Other Requirements:
  Applicants must have left their previous institution in good standing. Credentials from all nursing schools you attended are required if you are pursuing a B.S. in Nursing.

Transfer Credit Policy

• Minimum Grade:
  In general, credit may be granted for courses when a grade of at least a C- has been earned.

Information for Transfer Out Students

• Transfer Agreements:
  Wayne College offers the first two years of general education leading to a bachelor's degree at The University of Akron or for transfer to any other college or university.
