Financial Information

• Scholarships and Financial Aid:
  It all begins with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). You can complete the FAFSA online at fafsa.gov. School Codes: FAFSA 002880 | TAP 2230. Currently, SUNY Ulster will reach record scholarship awards – upwards of $500,000 to more than 350 students.
• Tuition and Fees:
  Estimated Tuition: $2, 540 per semester (12+ credits full-time student) | $200 per credit hour (part-time). Average Fees: $335. Some programs have course specific fees.

  SUNY Ulster welcomes transfer applicants from other colleges and universities.

Transfer Application Requirements

• Official Transcripts:
  If you attended any other college, you must have transcripts forwarded to SUNY Ulster from all institutions you've attended previously.

Transfer Credit Policy

• Minimum Grade:
  Courses with a grade of C- or better completed at a regionally accredited postsecondary institution will be considered. The cumulative average of all courses accepted by SUNY Ulster is a 2.0 or higher.
• Credits (Min/Max):
  To earn a degree you must complete at least 30 credit-bearing semester hours at SUNY Ulster. If you want to obtain a one-year diploma you must complete at least 15 semester hours at SUNY Ulster, regardless of the number of semester hours earned.
