    The College offers financial aid to students who are found to have financial need. To determine financial need, the Director of Financial Aid Services estimates the student’s expenses (including living costs) and the student’s resources. If the expenses are greater than the available resources, the student has need.

    Proof of high school completion or GED with an official transcript is required. Submit official transcripts of previous course work from all previously attended colleges.

    A $20.00 non-refundable application fee is required, except for those applicants who have previously attended a Connecticut Community College.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    Degree and certificate credit shall be granted for credit courses completed with a letter grade of “C-minus” or better, or with a grade of “P” (Pass).
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    The student must complete at least twenty-five percent of the minimum credit requirements at Tunxis to earn a degree to certificate.
