Transfer Application Requirements

  • Minimum GPA:
    Transfer students from accredited universities and colleges will be eligible for unconditional admission with at least a 2.00 grade point average on all non-developmental college work previously attempted.
  • Official Transcripts:
    If the applicant is under 25 years of age, the ACT is required for admission.
  • SAT Scores:
    Request that your American College Test (ACT) or Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) scores be sent to Troy University.
  • Letters of Recommendation:
    Students must submit a letter of recommendation as part of their admission to Troy University. Select someone (e.g. academic advisor, professor, work associate, friend, etc.) to complete the letter.
  • Application Fee:
    All students are required to pay a $30, non-refundable, application fee.
  • Interview:
    An admissions interview is required.
  • Other Requirements:
    A junior college transfer student must earn a minimum of 50 percent of all degree program hours on a senior college level in order to graduate from Troy University with a bachelor's degree.
