Transfer Application Requirements

• Official Transcripts:
  You must have official transcripts of previous college work sent to the Admissions office for transfer credit consideration, and you may be asked to provide additional documentation. Transfer credit will not be included in your TTC GPA.
• SAT Scores:
  SAT/ACT scores are not required for admission to TTC, but will be reviewed for proper course placement. SAT and ACT scores are valid for five years.
• Letters of Recommendation:
  Not required.
• Essay:
  Not required.

Transfer Credit Policy

• Minimum Grade:
  TTC awards transfer credit only when the grade is C- or higher or when the sending institution confirms that the grade (P for example) is equivalent to a C- or higher.
• Credits (Min/Max):
  If you earned credit hours from other institutions or agencies, you may fulfill up to 75 percent of program requirements through advanced standing credit: transfer credit, military credit, experiential learning, test credits.

Information for Transfer Out Students

• Number of Transferring:
  Each year hundreds of TTC students transfer successfully to colleges and universities across the country. With careful planning transfer students can tailor their TTC coursework to fit the first two requirements at most four-year institutions.
• Transfer Agreements:
  Most South Carolina four-year colleges publish statewide transfer agreements listing courses that transfer from TTC.
• Special Programs:
  TTC has a number of specialized transfer agreements for students in selected programs.
