Fulton-Montgomery Community College Back Psychology Articulation Agreement Cooperative program leading to the Associate Degree in Science and the Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Sam Houston State University PSYCHOLOGY: The question of why people and animals do what they do is a question for which scholars have long sought answers. The Psychology Program at Sam Houston State University is intended to provide a broad overview to the field of psychology that developed over the last 125 years to provide answers to this question. The objective of the Psychology Program is to provide students with a solid background in the science and practice of psychology. In our curriculum, students will find courses dealing with the biological bases of behavior as well as the social and clinical underpinnings of behavior. This well-rounded approach will enable students to be prepared to work in a variety of areas as well as enabling them to be prepared for advanced degree programs.
