Saint Peter’s College and MCC agree to cooperate through articulation of their respective programs in order to facilitate transfer from MCC to Saint Peter’s College. This is intended primarily for those students who have completed an associate degree and desire to continue towards completion of a baccalaureate degree. There are 2 opportunities for participation in this Dual Admission Program. Students may be admitted directly, as freshman, into the Dual Admission Program by Saint Peter’s Colleges. Also, students currently attending Middlesex County College, may join the dual degree program, up until the completion of 45 college credits. This program guarantees automatic admission to Saint Peter’s College upon completion of the associate degree at MCC with a minimum a 2.0 grade point average (GPA) or better on a four-point scale. For Education majors and other programs with admission requirements other than a 2.0 GPA, the same criteria required of native students will be applied to MCC students. These admission requirements will be provided to MCC on an annual basis. For the purpose of general education, degree, and program requirements, MCC students will be considered as matriculating at Saint Peter’s College at the time of their original matriculation at MCC. MCC students will be subject to the same continuous enrollment guidelines as Saint Peter’s students in determining which requirements and policies will apply. MCC associate degree holders with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher will be eligible for scholarship incentives from Saint Peter’s College ranging from $2,500 to $10,000 for students. MCC students who transfer to Saint Peter’s College will be treated in the same manner as other native students of equal class standing when applying for financial aid and in the award and distribution of funds, subject to appropriate regulations For further details about the Saint Peter’s – Middlesex County College Dual Admission Program, please contact the Transfer Office at MCC ot the Admissions Office at Saint Peter’s College.
